A Cooperative Nursery School benefits children and parents:
-
parents become "assistant teachers" (approx. one day a month) as they observe an experienced and certified early childhood teacher guide children's learning experiences;

parents enrich their "parenting skills" as they observe and interact with children who are developing their "learning-to-learn skills" through a carefully planned curriculum;
-
children gain valuable personal, social, and cognitive/intellectual skills as they interact with other children in the group, and with parents other than their own, all under the careful and respectful guidance of the nursery school teacher.
