Immersion On Monday, April 13, 2009 a group of 14 individuals toured the 17 neighborhoods on Hartford with the Reverend Edwin O. Ayala, Associate Director of the Christian Activities Council. The group got to see first-hand the marvelous diversity in cultures that the City of Hartford represents. The group also got to see the significant work that the Christian Activities Council is performing in the neighborhoods of Hartford.

Viewing the stones in “Silent Wishes” a sculpture garden in a vacant lot on Albany Avenue. Rocks are engraved with “wishes” by Harford gang members who have been killed. It is a profoundly moving place.
